Monique wanted a long weekend away, so we packed all her clothes in the trunk and drove south. She had a lot of fun with the truckers on the way down, especially one lucky guy in a blue Volvo who hung with us for miles!

Monique saw that the Beaver Creek Campground was offering full hook ups, so we had to stop...then we found out they didn't mean exactly what she had in mind.
Damon: Monique, very confusing sign right behind you!!
Finally arrived in Gatlinburg. Now off to the hotel.
Wow, this place is a dump!
There's nobody at the front desk to check in with.
Damon: Monique, ghost town!!!!
Not quite what it looked like in the brochure.
Damon: okay to take pictures!!!! :)
Maybe a dip in the pool....maybe not!
Wait 'til we get our hands on that travel agent.
I think we'll go somewhere else, hopefully we'll get our deposit back
This place is much better.
